the heart of the French Quarter. It also only a ten-minute
walk to the Frenchman Street restaurant and club area. We are
the perfect place to make your headquarters for Mardi Gras,
or any of the many special events which take place in New-Orleans.
Secure, off-street parking on the property is available for
a small additional charge.
Bracket House Bed
and Breakfast is a recently renovated vintage New-Orleans double
shotgun house. Its interior features soft, soothing colors throughout,
14 foot ceilings, and spacious airy rooms. One guest room is
available with private bath, large closet, queen bed, comfortable
seating, and cable television. A large dining room/kitchen is
adjacent and a parlor/reading room is nearby.
An adjacent building
on the same site has been recently renovated offering 4 spacious
rooms, each of which opens directly on to a large open living/dining
area. This building can accommodate 12 people and is the ideal
arrangement for small groups of family, friends or business
people traveling together. Here, you can have the run of the
house in a really home-away from-home atmosphere. It great
for things like weddings, graduations, bachelor(ette) parties,
football games, cruise, etc・/font>
We have a large
landscaped patio where you can take your breakfast or relax
a while in the evening.
Bracket House is
owned by Cliff & Anne-Marie Sanders. Cliff is retired and
is a native of New Orleans. He is happy to have a chatter with
you on any subject! He traveled the world during his professional
career and you can always find something to discuss with. Him.
Anne-Marie, native of France, has been a tour guide in Louisiana
for 12 years and can help you to find some hidden treasures
during your stay.
